Mini Melbs overseas

What are the odds that friends from Melbourne happen to come to London at the same time you’re there? I’d say quite high, but against the odds (geez, I need to stop use the word odds or we’ll all go insane) I met up with Lyndsey and Anne the other day, who had arrived from Melbs just that morning. We strolled around West End and Soho, taking in the sights and enjoying a lunch in the crypt and delicious cocktails at a hidden bar. The only thing I can complain about is the end of it: something I’d eaten wasn’t agreeing with my stomach, so I headed back to London Fields and spent the evening on the couch watching bad tv series, while Lani and Dylan were enjoying drinks. The envy! Oh well, better get better than go out and feel bad!

Streetfeast

Best way to spend a Friday night? At a warehouse full of food trucks and bars and people. OH how I have missed shooting food as well. We ate and drank and I put away the camera when we continued the night at an amazingly cute garden place next door.

A month in a day

Geez, I can’t believe it’s been almost a month since I last posted. It’s been an intense month. It’s included a trip up to the north of Sweden to meet Peter’s parents, as well as two friends we met in Ghana, followed by a night in London and then two weeks on a canal boat. I’m now back in London again and trying to get some sort of routine up and running, but every day I feel more and more tired. Oh well, I’ve got two weeks to recuperate before heading back to Melbourne. And even though the last month has been all vacation, it’s been so busy that I need that time to get back on my feet.

And with that said, here are is one photo from a week or so ago. There will be more, I just need some more time to find time. And routines. How I miss routines.
